AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety: The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety is dedicated to saving lives and reducing injuries on the roads. It is a not-for-profit, publicly-supported charitable educational and research organization.

Since 1947, the Foundation has funded over 170 research projects designed to discover the causes of traffic crashes, prevent them, and minimize injuries when they do occur. We have used this research to develop dozens of focused, high-impact educational materials for drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists and other road users.

Beverly Foundation:  The mission of the Foundation is to foster new ideas and options to enhance mobility and transportation for today's and tomorrow's older adults.

While its early program focused on reinforcing and extending the health potential of frail elderly residing in institutions, today, the Foundation undertakes research, demonstration and assistance to encourage senior mobility and transportation within and beyond the immediate community.

Independent Living Partnership: Established in 1989, the non-profit 501 (c)3 is committed to helping people lead more satisfying and rewarding lives, often in spite of significant health and mobility challenges. The Partnership's programs assist people to  continue to live successfully and independently in their communities.

 

ILP created the senior-friendly transportation program known as "TRIP", which continues to serve as a model for many similar volunteer driver programs.
