Administration on Aging - a collection of links and resources for seniors.  

Beverly Foundation - Homepage of the Beverly Foundation, which is an independent operating foundation, emphasizing research, demonstration and education efforts that contribute to the ability of older adults to continue living in the community as long as possible. The Beverly Foundation targets an audience of professionals, caregivers, family members and seniors themselves. 

Bureau of Transportation Statistics - Homepage for the Bureau of Transportation Statistics, a statistical agency established for data collection, analysis, reporting, and to ensure the most cost-effective use of transportation-monitoring resources.  

Community Transportation Association - Homepage of the Community Transportation Association, a national, professional membership association of organizations and individuals committed to removing barriers to isolation and to improving mobility for all people. 

Federal Transit Administration - Homepage of the Federal Transit Administration, containing information on public transit transportation and relevant news.

National Center on Senior Transportation (NCST). NCST’s mission is to increase transportation options for older adults and enhance their ability to live more independently within their communities throughout the U.S. The NCST provides free information and referral and technical assistance to services providers who are interested in improving mobility for older adults in their region. Service providers interested in speaking with an NCST specialist can call the toll free number (866) 528-NCST or send an email to ncst@easterseals.com. NCST also offers a bimonthly newsletter, “NCST Today” that is available free of charge upon request.

National Institute on Aging's "Age Page" - Age page from the National Institute on Aging provides statistics, information on senior driving, and links to other resources on aging.  

Seniordrivers.org - The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety's website on issues pertaining to seniors and their families. Driving tips, safety, and mobility alternatives are covered in detail. Multimedia enabled.

US Department of Transportation - Homepage of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), a part of the Department of Transportation headquartered in Washington, D.C., with field offices across the United States. The FHWA performs its mission through providing federal financial assistance to the States to construct and improve the National Highway System, urban and rural roads, and bridges. The program provides funds for general improvements and development of safe highways and roads. And by providing access to and within national forests, national parks, Indian reservations and other public lands by preparing plans, letting contracts, supervising construction facilities, and conducting bridge inspections and surveys.
